Coach Shane
CrossFit Affiliate Owner & Coach
As an Affiliate Owner & CrossFit Trainer with a background in professional sports, I have been coaching fitness for over 9 years. In early 2013 my wife Bo and I found CrossFit, by 2014 we had completed our CF-L1 Trainer credentials and started coaching CrossFit to friends from our garage at home. A few months later we opened Ghetto CrossFit and never looked back.
I believe that “movement-is-life” and I am blessed to wake up every day and spend time in a space where I am able to make genuine, long-lasting relationships with people, while helping them become better versions of themselves, both physically and mentally.
I currently hold a CF-L1 and CF-L2 Trainer credential. I have also completed CrossFit Gymnastics, CrossFit Weightlifting and CrossFit Aerobic Capacity Certifications.
My specialties include competitor coaching, gymnastics, weightlifting, aerobic capacity and sport specific training.
Coach Bo
CrossFit Affiliate Owner & Coach
I have been involved in the fitness industry since I was 16 years old, and opening a CrossFit Affiliate was the culmination of my pursuit to stay within the health & fitness industry for good.
I love that I get to spend every day helping humans become better! Seeing how people who think they are “average” achieve amazing things, both physically and mentally, fuels my passion for making a positive change in the world.
My experiences while working with people within CrossFit have given me the motivation to keep educating people so they can regain control over their health, and create balance in their lives. Seeing the confidence blossom in each person at the Ghetto CrossFit makes every early morning and late night worth it.
Coach Mickey
CrossFit Coach
I started my CrossFit journey in January 2018, where I was introduced to group classes. Surprisingly, within just a few weeks, my interest in coaching sparked, and after six months, I earned my CF-L1 Trainer credential. During that time, I devoted myself to shadowing and assisting at a local affiliate, learning as much as I could.
In September 2019, I became a part of the warm and welcoming Ghetto CrossFit family, taking on the role of a full-time CrossFit Trainer. My commitment to growth led me to complete the CrossFit Gymnastics Course early in 2020, and in 2021, I proudly obtained my CF-L2 Trainer credential.
My passion for CrossFit extends beyond my personal journey; I find tremendous fulfilment in helping others embark on their fitness paths. Guiding Ghetto CrossFit members towards their goals brings me immense joy, and I cherish the countless memorable moments etched into my mind from coaching them.

I currently hold a CF-L2 Trainer credential and am working towards my CF-L3 Trainer credential. I have an extensive cycling background, having participated in club cycling, mountain biking, and BMX – truly embracing it all! However, life had different plans for me…
In 2013, a serious motorcycle accident turned my life upside down, leading to a long and ongoing road to recovery. It was during this challenging time that I discovered CrossFit. Participating in a rehabilitation course at a local box opened up a whole new chapter for me.
As a CrossFit Trainer with 6 years of experience, I consider myself privileged to have helped numerous individuals transform their lives. Additionally, I have had the opportunity to coach several school hockey teams.
My greatest joy comes from witnessing how CrossFit changes people’s lives. I can personally attest that nothing can hold you back from becoming a better human being through this incredible fitness journey.
Coach Morne
CrossFit Coach
I currently hold a CrossFit L1 Trainer credential and have a lifelong passion for strength, fitness and training.
From 2016 to 2020 I competed in Strongman, pushing the limits of strength, and experiencing what my body was capable of (the human body is capable of so much more than we think!)
After an on-and-off stint at various traditional gyms, I discovered CrossFit and after just a year my love for fitness and this community inspired a desire to help others.
So, in 2024 I took the opportunity to complete my L1. Now, as a trainer, I am focused on changing people’s lives for the better, just as my coaches changed my life, guiding people toward their goals with passion and purpose.

CrossFit Coach
After working as a Mechanical Engineer for over 13 years, with a brief stint in the glass and aluminum industry, I made a career change and today I am a professional Tattoo Artist and proud to be part of the team of coaches at Ghetto Crossfit.
I initially joined Ghetto Crossfit seeking a different exercise experience from traditional gyms. I quickly developed a strong interest and immense enjoyment for it and have never looked back.
I have a passion for working with and motivating those within my community, bringing my naturally high vibrations and positive energy to enable them to reach the best version of themselves.
I am here to support, guide, and assist you on your journey to a fitter, healthier and happier self.
Remember: “Happiness is within your control, a fitter healthier you will lead to a longer more beautiful life.”
Coach Louise
CrossFit Coach
My love for CrossFit began in 2020, and by 2023 I had developed such a passion for CrossFit that I made the decision to change career paths and become a CrossFit Level 1 Trainer.
I made the career change so that I could help others enhance their lives and hopefully fall in love with CrossFit, and the community as much as I have. I am passionate about helping every person who enters the doors, regardless of their fitness levels, and showing them that CrossFit is for EVERYONE. Seeing individuals reach their goals and overcome challenges on a daily basis is what keeps me motivated and my goal is to help them reach their full potential.
